Curt Ryle's career as a musician began at age 7. Curt Was born in Duncan Oklahoma and by the time he was 21 years old, he had already toured with the biggest stars of that era including, Ray Price, Fiddling Frenchie Burke, Darrell McAll, and many others. Curt's songwriting career however began in Dallas Texas in 1982. As the lead guitarist and lead singer at Dewey Groom's World Famous Long Horn Ballroom, Curt was challenged by Dewey to write 10 songs for a 25th anniversary Longhorn Ballroom album. Though Curt had dabbled in writing, he had never seriously tried to write anything that would be recorded. However, If that's what Dewey (“The Boss”) wanted, Curt said he would give it a shot. Curt wrote all the songs in two weeks and took them to Dewey. Dewey ask him to play the songs on a guitar, so, Curt sang 6 of them. Dewey was excited and immediately set up a recording session. The band went in and recorded them. THAT is how it began. Fast forward 6 months! Mel Tillis was booked to perform at the Longhorn Ballroom and Curt and the band opened for him. Later in the night, Dewey gave Mel a copy of the album and, Mel later listened to it on his bus! The very next day, Mel called Curt on the phone and asked if Curt could be at the airport to board a flight in 45 minutes!!! Curt was on that plane and the rest is History. Mel signed him as a song writer the same day. Out of those first 10 songs, four of them went on to become hits.! (“The Real McCoy”- by George Jones) was Curt's most cherished. Although, (“Dying One Shot At A Time” by Clinton Gregory was his next favorite.), 6 years later and 400 songs later, Curt became Mel's Record Producer. Curt has written hit songs for Billy Ray Cyrus, George Jones, Gene Watson, Johnny Bush, Johnny Duncan, Lee Ann Womack and many others. As a musician he has played on recordings for Taylor Swift, Justin Moore, Vern Gosdin, Trisha Yearwood, Steve Holy, Brookes and Dunn, Chris Stapelton and many many others. Today Curt Writes hit songs for European artists who are Super Stars in Europe. He has 15 artists on his Record Company's roster. He also Produces two of the biggest internet stars in the Country, Jadyn Rylee and his own Son, Brayden Ryle and a lot of other young singers who are very successful. Curt has won multiple awards & was inducted into the North American Country Music Assoc. Hall of Fame 2021.
